I’ve done a few things that added a couple hundred dollars to my bottom line and the sites that I was pumping out in Nov of last year is kicking in a little. The main thing was revamping my $15k site, which I should have done months ago. I probably left 1-2 grand on the table… I didn’t do it out of fear that it may change the link structure and won’t get the same Search Engine traffic. Wrong! Although, it was a legitimate fear, but I also didn’t do anything about it to make sure it didn’t happen. I check my revamped work and it was set even better than I thought… This is a lesson for me. I shouldn’t sit on my fear and brush the project aside.
Another quick fix for cash was Kontera. It’s another form of text link ad that is placed in the content. It doesn’t compare to Adsense, since it only brings in $3-5/day, but that’s still an extra $100-150 for 2 of my well trafficked sites. The affiliate was a bit flat this month, but I need to develop a strong backend with all the email list I am collecting and really capitalize on that market. I am in the process of developing a more comprehensive system to test my layouts and backend to really increase conversion.
I’m hoping next month will have another steady increase in Adsense and find some new Affiliates to grow. Will report more as it comes out.

I find that as my network of sites grow, it’s becoming easier to grow at a certain pace. Also, when you find a new method of doing things to your current network, the income can jump quite fast which is always a bonus. The point is to build that network. If you’ve been tracking my progress, you’ll see that I was hovering around $1K+ for a couple of month while I was building all these new sites, but now I am at a point where the fruits of my labor is kicking in and accelerated growth is in sight. I expect to break $3k or come close to it in March.
Also note, that I am now reporting Net Profit. I was reporting Revenue before, just because it was a bigger number…
