July 2006 Adsense Revenue - $900.45

Published by fongrich on Tagged Adsense Update

July has been another exciting month. I purchased the $15K tech website and finished revamping the $2K cellphone website I purchased last month. I am current making around $45.64/day average based on last 7 days. That’s projected to be $1350 for next month. We’re not kidding around here anymore. That’s like a $15K raise in salary! And it’s just getting started (2 months progress).

I did spend $135.93 on Adwords for my other niche site. Revenue for that site was $410. So I made about $274 from arbitrage. Actual earning minus Adwords is $764.52. Sorry if I am being too anal with the numbers, but this is part of my documentation :) I’ve spent quite a bit on outsourcing this month. I don’t have the exact figures, but I estimate it to be close to $400. That’ll payoff later on in folds.

If you have been reading my entries, you remember that the tech website wasn’t as I hoped. I was making around $6/day for weeks, until someone flipped a swith and one of the page got #1 rank on a phrase. It’s bring in around 800 impressions a day and the keyword is pretty pricy. I just hope this will last. I am also working hard to revamp that site so I can get even better CTR. Next month should be better than the projection.

After the cellphone site migration, my Click Through Rate (CTR) increased 10 times. I expected as much, because it was poorly set up. However, I was hoping for more revenue. I am currently generate around $10/day from the site. I projected $20-30. I am working on more content and getting some promotions done in forums. We’ll see how things go.

I am also hoping to acquire more sites. It’s very difficult to find quality sites to buy. Most websites for sale are too expensive or not worth the time. I’m lucky to find one good site a month. (I’ll have to make an entry about what to look for in a good website.) That’s about how much I can handle anyway. I hire people to build content and maintain the site for me, so I have more time and engery to focus on new projects. Remember, I am still working at a 50hr/week full time job. I probably spend 10-15 hours/week on my internet business. (I have an active social life as well) I did have to make sacrafices with my time. But thank goodness for outsourcing, all this would have taken many many months if I were to do all this myself.

Anyway, enough with the chatter. Here’s the proof:

Congrats bro. When you first went off on another of your many Tony Robbins rants, I was skeptical of whether you would actually follow through. Well, you proved me dead wrong. Well deserved, keep up the momentum.

Thanks! Like I said, if only accomplish half of what I set out to do, in the end it’s still pretty damn good :)
I hope you take action soon! I am here to support you if you need help.
