Life Without Internet

For the first few days, life came to a stand still. I seriously didn’t know what to do with myself. Internet has taken over my life. It’s my income, entertainment, communication, and boredom killer in general. I think many can relate. The last few days have been different.
I bought a cheap laptop so I can check emails at Panera Bread, but I haven’t really done any production work. All I’ve done is pay my writers and check a little bit of work. I hate working on laptops since I’m used to working with my dual screen.
The reality is my business has actually grown a bit despite my lack of connectivity and work. Thanks to my outsource team, business is running as usual. I think this is certainly an unintended test that this business can exist without me. Although, I have a feeling things will start to slow down over a long period of time without my input.
I am going to enjoy my internet fasting and see what the non-internet world has to offer. So far, I’ve cleaned my patio for the first time this year, played badminton for hours, watched avg of 3 movies a day, read a little bit, and explored my community
