Sept 2006 Adsense + Affiliate Revenue = $1,600.39

My adsense earning this month was $1,445.39 It grew a little under 15% over last month, which is ok. Of course, I didn’t have any server go down on me, so real growth is nominal. What did kick in this month was affiliates earnings. I have been placing some affiliate links from Commision Junction on some of my websites and it’s made $155 this month. Not bad at all. I plan to do some email marketing and promote the affiliates a little more. This will help diversify some of the income. My Adwords expense was $105.80 . I also signed up for Miva which is a 2nd tier PPC service. Hoping to do a little more arbitrage.

Regarding my niche site building. I have published only 3 sites this month, but I have 3 more ready to go. I find the bottle neck to be me… I get the content in Words doc, and I need to copy and paste it into a template and publish the site. I have been looking for a more professional template to work with. However, I am slowing down production. I think once I have the template built, I’ll outsource the task of making the site.

They say that the next few month, click cost will increase due to advertisers bidding for the christmas season. We’ll see since most of my sites are not consumer product related. I know my diet site will go gangbuster in Janurary, so I got to do some work to set that up to maximize profit.

Not much more to update other than I have to pump out more sites to get ready for my retirement date.
